Should the Masai Tribe Westernize?

In traditional tribe, there are many unusual customs need to be followed. It's a part of history on Earth. We should respect and preserve it. But at the same time as civilized we are, some traditional customs seem to be considered more.
In Masai tribe, women is taunted when they married and move to new village. They couldn't think about anything except their family. Instead of men, they have to take care everything of their living. In my opinion I would say that the women in Masai should be liberated but it takes time.
In early 20th centry footbinding is a custom in China. As time gose on, this custom fall away gradually. Customs can be changed but we still need to wait.
